In general terms, the site manager is responsible for the smooth running of the site (from delivery of the plans to acceptance of the work) within the deadlines and in complete safety. They have a global vision and a practical mindset: they organise their work independently, taking into account a range of practical details. They know how to anticipate, deal with the unexpected and manage a team. The equipment must be ready at the right time and the work of the teams must conform to the schedule. His team can rely on him for advice and technical assistance, in complete safety and with respect for the environment.
Mission
- Knows the rules, standards and safety instructions and ensures that they are observed
- Analyses the electrical installation plans and diagrams produced by the design office. Suggests improvements to the installation plans if necessary
- Defines the method for carrying out the work in collaboration with the Account Manager.
- Organises and ensures the availability of resources to meet deadlines, plans the team’s work and manages materials/supplies (electrical equipment/tools).
- Prepares and monitors the work of the teams (technical advice and assistance), monitors the progress of the work (laying cables, installing and connecting equipment) and makes any necessary adjustments (revising the schedule, adding extra staff, etc.).
- Acts as a link between the customer and the company.
- Carries out commissioning and quality control of installations.
