General responsibilities: The Site Foreman or Supervisor is responsible for the smooth running of construction sites from the delivery of plans to the completion of works, ensuring adherence to deadlines and safety regulations. They possess a comprehensive overview and a practical mindset, autonomously organizing their sites while considering a range of practical details. They are able to anticipate challenges, handle unexpected situations, and manage a team effectively. Equipment must be available at the right time, and the team’s work must align with the project schedule. The team can rely on the Site Supervisor for guidance and technical support, ensuring a safe and environmentally friendly work environment.
Mission
- Masters and enforces safety rules, standards, and procedures.
- Analyzes electrical installation plans and diagrams produced by the engineering department. Proposes improvements to installation plans if necessary.
- Defines the work execution method in collaboration with the Project Manager.
- Organizes and ensures the availability of resources to meet project deadlines, plans the team’s work, and manages material resources and supplies (electrical equipment, tools).
- Prepares and supervises the work of the teams (provides advice and technical assistance), monitors work progress (cable installation, equipment setup and connection), and makes necessary adjustments (schedule revisions, additional personnel…).
- Acts as a liaison between the client and the company.
- Carries out commissioning and quality control of installations.
